Canvas is the latest culinary collaboration of chefs Charles Fells and Megan Kulpa Fells. This dynamic couple brought the bold concept of The Artist's Palate restaurant to Main Street in Poughkeepsie in 2006 and revitalized the area. Building on the success of their flagship bistro, The Fells have launched Canvas. The venture will serve as a complement to The Artist's Palate, but also a bold departure. Both Charles Fells and Megan Kulpa Fells bring years of experience to Canvas. Mr. Fells was former Executive Chef at the Busy Bee Café in Poughkeepsie and Executive Chef at Williams Lake Hotel and Resort, Rosendale. Megan Kulpa Fells is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and previously served as Executive Chef for the Dutchess Golf and Country Club in Poughkeepsie, Executive Chef for 23 Broadway in Kingston, NY and Chef at the West Park Winery in West Park-on-Hudson.
